About The Wedding 22.04.2025 - Wedding Fletcher Eerbeek
At Fletcher Eerbeek, this wedding unfolded as designed by the atmosphere, with intention, and quiet confidence. Every choice we made was layered and designed to feel cohesive and curated. A wedding where style and aesthetics were inseparable from who the couple truly are.
The wedding began with a private first look. Not staged, not performative, simply a moment carved out of time. In an otherwise full and festive day, this created space for grounding, for connection, for presence, the details are in the logistics. It set the tone for what followed: a wedding that felt personal, considered, and deeply elegant.
We designed the wedding around burgundy hues and chic detailing, but the real luxury came from texture. Soft drapery paired with reflective surfaces. Deep reds softened by natural light. Rather than relying on excess florals or overt luxury cues, we focused on contrast and materiality, because true luxury is about intention, rather than extravagance. She loves currents & berries, so we incorporated them thoughtfully into the wedding styling. As a detail that guests may not consciously notice, yet instinctively feel. This is where design becomes storytelling.
During the wedding reception, guests were welcomed with a champagne tower moment inspired by the Great Gatsby era. Think refined glamour rather than theme: a nod to the 1920s through silhouette and styling, with timeless elegance at its core. The attire echoed this mood: classic shapes, impeccable tailoring, nothing costume-like. It felt celebratory yet composed, exactly as it should.
Personal elements were subtly woven into the design. He has a deep love for playing the piano, which became part of the visual narrative through intimate piano moments captured throughout the day: romantic, cinematic, a moment for just the two of them.
The table styling was intentionally unconventional. Mirrored surfaces reflected candlelight and movement, adding depth and unique textures. Freshly produced peppers, tomatoes, all kinds of fruits, were used as sculptural elements, creating an almost still-life quality experience. At each table corner, delicate bows were added: a modern interpretation of the drapery trend, refined and architectural instead of flowing and excessive. It proved that trends, when translated thoughtfully, can feel timeless rather than temporary.
The cake was square shaped, an unexpected choice that immediately stood out. Graphic, minimal, and striking, it complemented the overall aesthetic perfectly. The bouquet followed the same philosophy: entirely red, unapologetically chic, and sculptural in form.
This wedding is a reflection of how we approach wedding planning at L'Étoile Weddings, particularly for couples seeking a high-end wedding near the fashion cities: Paris, New York, Rome and Amsterdam. It’s about balance: between aesthetics and emotion, expertise and intuition, vision and execution. When every decision is intentional, the result don't just look beautiful: it feels cohesive. And that is where true luxury lives.
